Good Afternoon, Trinity Members!

Below are the announcements and verses for this week!

Announcements (Week of November 29th)

Parish Administrator Announcement
After more than 6 years of service as our Parish Administrator, Jake Klug has decided to step away from that position to pursue other opportunities. Jake has helped see our congregation through many exciting and challenging seasons during his time in this role. Through his work during the major renovation project of 2016-2018 (including significant improvements of the school facilities), his guidance on the development of our online worship model during the pandemic, and the many other aspects of this ministry that he touched along the way, Jake’s dedication to excellence has been a blessing to Trinity. We wish Jake well and pray for God’s continued blessings on the Klug family!

Mite Collection
MITE COLLECTION WILL BE NEXT WEEKEND at all services. Everyone is welcome to contribute Mites to help fund LWML mission projects.

2021 Annual Food Drive Update
For more than 25 years, Trinity Lutheran School has hosted a food drive to give back to our community. This year we collected monetary donations and gift cards instead of food items. Thanks to the generosity of our Trinity families, we were able to raise over $5,000!

Youth Group Wrapping Fundraiser.
The youth will be wrapping Christmas presents during the advent service on Wednesday December 6th and Wednesday December 15th.  Bring in any Christmas presents you want wrapped and the youth will have them ready by the end of the Advent service. This will be a free will donation to help raise money for the youth program.

National Youth Gathering
We are still taking reservations for the National Youth Gathering in July. If you do not have a registration form, you can find it on our Trinity website. Or use this link to go directly to the form - There is a $150.00 deposit per youth. Checks can be made out to Trinity Lutheran Church. We are looking forward to taking as many kiddos as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. You can contact the Youth Director at

Food Drive Results
Trinity Lutheran School children and their families are happy to report our total for the annual drive are $4,913.96! Wow! Praise be to the Lord for giving us so many generous families that support this special ministry here at Trinity. We have surpassed last year’s amount. We are truly blessed! Thank you for your participation!

The money will be spent to support families that receive help from the Trinity Food Pantry, and 10% will be sent to the Grace Lutheran Food Pantry to benefit the Springfield community.

Also thank you to Casey’s, Mrs. Klug, and Mrs. Sausaman for donating pizza and donuts for our top six grades who brought in the most money, Grade 5, Grade 2, Grade 7, and Grade 4, respectively. They will receive a pizza/movie party. Grades 3 and 6 came in next and will receive a donut party.
